Our Service Delivery Philosophy

Bio-psychosocial Approach

Rehab Management’s standard practice is to take a bio psychosocial approach to all cases. We consider not only the worker’s physical or mental health condition but the person as a whole, including psychological issues and the social environment and constraints. We consider social factors that may present barriers to a person's RTW eg, family issues and work closely with them and relevant stakeholders to find solutions.

Our success in adopting a bio-psychosocial approach has been proven in RTW outcomes achieved across a wide variety of industries and frameworks.

Health Benefits of Good Work (HBGW)

Rehab Management is an industry signatory to the Australasian Faculty of Occupational & Environmental Medicine’s Consensus Statement (HBGW).

The purpose of the consensus statement is to bring together a wide range of stakeholder signatories, who each affirm the importance of work as a determinant of health and commit to:

  • Promoting awareness of the health benefits of good work;
  • Offering support and encouragement to those attempting to access the health benefits of good work;
  • Encouraging employers’ continuing support of workers’ occupational health; and
  • Advocating for continuous improvement in public policy around work and health, in line with the principles articulated in the consensus statement. Learn More
